I do not have an opinion one way or another on this issue, but there is a new blogger named Hank Rand that did a very detailed post on the raised issues regarding Obama's birth.
If you have not been following this, there have been questions as to whether or not President-Elect Obama qualifies as a "Natural Born Citizen" to qualify to be President of the United States. Most articles I have seen do not address the actual questions, and Hank lays out the questions pretty clearly -- if everything he states is true.
The most interesting thing I learned was that Hawaii has/had both a Certificate of Live Birth and a Certification of Live Birth. The former is what we would know as a birth certificate. The second basically validates a birth certificate and is not nearly as official or contain as much information. The latter is what Obama posted on his website. The interesting point is that in the past Hawaii would issue the Certifications based on certificates elsewhere if the parent was a resident the previous year. In other words, you could live in Hawaii, move out of the state or country temporarily, send back you certificate and still receive a Hawaiian certification.
Whether this means anything or not might be a moot point, but it is still interesting.

The guy you are quoting got it wrong. Hawaii issues only a certification of live birth.
This fellow puts it better than I can:
A posting from Andrew Walden, publisher of the Hawaii Free Press, a right-wing blog based in Hawaii.

Barack Obama: Born in Hawai`i
by Andrew Walden
It is time to focus on REAL issues, not imaginary ones.
A fairly impressive internet industry has sprung up claiming that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia. This is nonsense, which distracts from the broadly unexplored story of Obama's upbringing. This kind of nonsense has emerged because the McCain campaign chose not to raise the many questions about Barack Obama's numerous hard-left alliances. Barack Obama was born in Hawai`i, August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu.
Obama's birth certificate posted online is exactly the same birth certificate everybody in Hawai`i gets from the State Department of Health. It is not forged. There is nothing unusual about the design or the texture. In addition to the birth certificate, the August 13, 1961 Honolulu Advertiser also carries an announcement of Obama's birth. The Honolulu Star-Bulletin also carries the same announcement. Both papers require submission of a copy of the birth certificate to print a birth announcement.
End quote
I am going to have to do more research into this myself. I looked at the article you link, and it has just raised more questions in my mind. I had not actually looked at the one on Obama's site before either.
I do not care about this one way or the other, but now I have my interest piqued, I really want to take a closer look.
Okay. But don't be mislead by some of the right wing blogs that say that Hawaii Revised Statute 338-18 allows the state to issue a certification of live birth to a child born outside of Hawaii.
This is true, but misleading. The fact is that HRS 338-18 allows the document to be issued, but it must state the location of birth as whatever that location of birth is.
Thus in filling out the form, it would be illegal for the parents to declare that he was born in Hawaii, if he were born in Kenya. And if they wrote in Kenya on the form, the certification of live birth would be a Hawaii birth document with Kenya as the place of birth.
In Obama's case, as you know, Obama's certification of live birth says that he was born in Hawaii (three times, under location of birth, Honolulu, island of birth, Oahu, and county of birth, Honolulu).
Ask yourself why, if Obama was born in Kenya in 1961, would his parents have lied about it? Why would the officials of the state of Hawaii be lying today?
Obama was born in Hawaii.
Folks, this is NOT rocket science.
Since the Constitution’s Article II requires our President to be a “natural born citizen” (not merely a “citizen” as allowed for those living when the Constitution was enacted), meaning both parents were US “citizens” when the child was born (altho parents need not be “natural born” citizens), there’s NO WAY Obama can be President — regardless of being born in Kenya OR Hawaii — that is, to be “natural born citizen” (as opposed to being a “citizen”) being born on American soil is insufficient unless both parents are “citizens”. Obama’s dad was NOT an American citizen. He was a citizen of the UK (administering Kenya at the time).
Case closed.
It's confirmed! Obama was not born in the United States.
